SAS and Netezza expand partnership

The FIrst Coffee blog reports that SAS and Netezza have expanded their partnership to allow for SAS model code to run in parallel on Netezza’s TwinFin appliance.
Well-known for it’s enterprise analytics solutions, SAS is now in the process of building a new facility to support an expanded SAAS (software as a service) offering in the area of analytics via the cloud. Construction on the new facility in NC is scheduled to begin this summer.
